Type, teams, and team performance

Teams are critical for organizational success and have many advantages over individuals working alone. Most workers are part of one or more teams and would find it difficult (or impossible) to carry out their roles effectively without being a member of that team.

However, teams can also encounter problems.

This research by The Myers-Briggs Company investigates the factors that relate to team performance, including specific views and behaviors, overall performance of their team, and how individuals’ MBTI® personality type preferences related to their perceptions of working in a team.
